Our Ministry

During our time in college we both felt the Lord leading us to full-time ministry.

Andi’s story

I grew up going to church and placed my faith in Christ in high school.  Campus Crusade was instrumental in helping me continue to grow.

In 2003 I started working with Campus Crusade, then officially joined in 2005. I serve in the Campus Ministry’s National Office. My first jobs were graphic design and then a liaison between my media team and the rest of the Campus Ministry.

In 2007,I transitioned to the Campus Office Conference and Events Team. We plan and execute the operational side of meetings, events, and conference for 35+ events/year. My job has taken me to Egypt,Turkey,Panama City Beach,FL,Colorado, and more. I absolutely LOVE my job and can’t imagine doing anything else.

Scott’s story

I grew up in a Christian home and at a young age placed my faith in Christ. I immediately understood the need to share my faith but found myself ill-equipped to share it. While studying mechanical engineering at the University of Kentucky I got involved with Campus Crusade and quickly learned to share my faith.

I joined the organization and was placed in our World Headquarters in Orlando,Florida. For the first 14 years I worked in the U.S. Information Technology Group. I served with this group from 1993-2007.  During the first 7 years I programmed and developed many small system then was the development team leader for 7 years over our enterprise business systems.

I now work in the Global Technology Office. I jump in and out of various IT/IS projects. My primary focus is on our community collaboration tool called Global Connexion. The strong suite of GCX is collaboration. People from around the world can discuss and share ideas and resources in a secure environment.  GCX has strong similarities to Google Sites,Google Search,Google Groups,Google Docs,WordPress, and BaseCamp Project Mgmt.  Our system went live in 2005 and was ahead of its time and continues evolve.  One of the primary benefits of GCX is that we can control the security and our systems can be used in countries considered closed to Christian missions. I have been taking the lead with our Google Search Appliance and helping CCCI move our systems toward being more multi-lingual.  I am also looking forward to building collaboration among system developers around the world. I am also looking forward to working with my wife to direct the Summer 2011 New Staff Training.

Our Ministry

Many people think of missionaries as church planters, campus evangelists,or bible translators. Few think about the huge number of supporting roles that are necessary to help others come to know and love our Lord. Campus Crusade for Christ’s World Headquarters in Orlando,Florida is the nerve center for the many different ministries of Campus Crusade. Because the work done at our Headquarters supports the entire ministry, each person here literally touches the lives of millions of people all over the world. Scott’s goal is to build infrastructure within CCC which will help our missionaries on the field become more effective.

Andi’s mission is to minister to college students by planning conferences that uniquely connect with them.

It is here that we believe God is using our gifts and abilities to maximize our investment in reaching people for Christ.
